Summer Wreath Tutorial

I made this wreath for less than $10. And you can too!

1.  Prepare your wreath.  Purchase a wreath at Hobby Lobby for $5. I always recycle the base of wreaths after each season/holiday. I used the base from my Christmas wreath for this wreath, so it was free!

2.  Purchase flowers and decorations.  Purchase flowers and decorations of your choice. Make sure to choose coordinating colors and flower styles. I purchased a mixture of 5-6 colorful flower bouquets and butterflies from the Dollar Tree. You can't beat bouquets for $1 each!

3.  Arrange flowers and decorations.  Start by removing the stems from each of the flowers and decorations using wire cutters.  I always arrange the flowers and decorations before gluing them in place to make sure I like the look of the wreath.

4.  Glue flowers and decorations into place. Take one flower out of the wreath at a time. Place a hefty amount of hot glue on the back of the flower and glue into place.

5.  Attach heavy-duty hook to back of wreath. Choose a sturdy hook to place at the top of your wreath for hanging.  Glue the hook to your wreath and hang!
